Start every interaction with a genuine thank you. When someone comments on your post, thank them. It’s a small gesture that sets a positive tone and shows your appreciation. This simple act can open the door to deeper, more meaningful engagement.

2. Edify

Next, edify the person you’re speaking with. Recognize and highlight their strengths. For instance, if a parent shares their story, acknowledge the dedication and effort that goes into raising children. By making them feel valued and respected, you build a foundation of trust and rapport.

3. Ask

Asking thoughtful questions is crucial. It shows that you’re genuinely interested in their situation and helps you gather the information needed to offer relevant solutions. Questions like “What are you currently doing for a living?” or “What challenges are you facing right now?” can reveal critical insights.

4. Solve

Use the information you’ve gathered to offer a tailored solution. For example, “Based on what you’re telling me, I think you might benefit from trying what I’ve been using to help with XYZ. It’s been very effective.” This step shows that you’ve listened and that you care about their success.

5. Enroll

If you’ve executed the previous steps well, enrolling them becomes a natural progression. They’ll feel confident in their decision because they know you understand their needs and have their best interests at heart. This isn’t about being pushy; it’s about guiding them to a solution that genuinely helps.
