Let’s face it—consistency in content creation is tough.
But what if you could knock out a full month of video ideas, topics, and even scripts… using AI? That’s not just possible—it’s what I do.
I’ve been using AI to help me and my students plan 30-day video content strategies that are laser-focused, clear, and powerful for generating leads.
And today, I’m breaking down the exact 3-step method I use to make that happen.
Let’s dive in.
Step 1: Get Crystal Clear on Your Goal and Audience
This is the step most people skip—and it’s why their results with AI feel generic.
Before you type anything into ChatGPT, you’ve got to get clear. What’s the actual goal of your content plan? Is it to generate leads? To build trust with your audience? To drive traffic to a sales page?
For this example, let’s say your goal is lead generation through short-form video.
Once you know your goal, you need to tell AI:
-
Who your audience is
-
What your niche is
-
What platform you're focused on (Instagram Reels, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
Without this direction, AI has no clue where to go. It’s like asking someone to build a house without telling them how many bedrooms you want.
So instead of typing in something broad like, “Give me video ideas,” give AI a focused prompt like:
“Create a 30-day short-form video content plan for network marketers who want to generate more leads on Instagram Reels and Facebook.”
When you do this, the ideas you get back are actually relevant.
Step 2: Let AI Do the Heavy Lifting on Ideas and Formats
This is where things get fun. Once you’ve defined the goal, AI can help you come up with specific types of content formats to keep your videos fresh and interesting across the month.
Here are some formats I rotate through often:
-
Educational tips (How-to’s, tutorials, quick strategies)
-
Personal stories (Relatable, behind-the-scenes content)
-
Engagement style (Questions, polls, myth-busting, hot takes)
-
Listicle style (My favorite—like “5 Mistakes You're Making in Your DMs”)
-
Truth vs. Myth
-
FAQ style
-
Q&A style
Instead of doing one type of video over and over, I like to mix these formats throughout the month.
Here’s a killer prompt to use:
“Give me 10 educational, 10 story-based, and 10 engagement-style video topics for [your niche] who want to generate leads on Instagram.”
Boom—now you’ve got 30 solid topic ideas to start from.
You can also go more granular:
-
“Give me 5 video ideas in FAQ format”
-
“Give me 5 list-style video ideas for new network marketers”
-
“What are 5 myths in [your niche] I can make videos about?”
These formats aren’t just for variety—they each speak to your audience in different ways and build trust over time.
Step 3: Turn Topics into Scripts or Bullet Points
Now you’ve got 30 days of video ideas, but how do you actually turn those into content? This is where AI can help you script or outline what to say in each video.
Here’s a simple prompt I use all the time:
“Turn this idea—‘Three Mistakes Network Marketers Make on Video’—into a 60-second video script with a clear hook and a strong call to action.”
You’ll get a basic script, usually with an intro, 3 core points, and an outro. Perfect for Reels, TikToks, and Shorts.
Now, full disclosure: I’m not a fan of reading scripts word-for-word on camera. It comes off robotic and just doesn’t connect with people.
But what I do love is taking the bullets or structure and riffing from there. I keep notes on the screen next to me—just off camera—so I stay on track while keeping it natural and authentic.
That’s how you let your personality shine, which is a huge key to standing out in today’s AI-saturated content world. God gave you a voice for a reason—use it.
Bonus Tip: Don’t Just Accept AI’s First Answer
One of the best tricks I use is to ask for more ideas than I actually need. Let’s say I want to make a “3 tips” video. I’ll ask ChatGPT:
“Give me 5 tips on XYZ…”
Then I pick the best 3 that fit what I want to say. The other two either get trashed or saved for another video. That gives me creative control and helps me shape content that feels like me—not just AI regurgitation.
AI Doesn’t Kill Creativity—It Supercharges It
A lot of people are scared AI is going to ruin creativity. But honestly, I’ve found the opposite to be true.
AI isn’t meant to replace your ideas—it’s meant to spark them. You still need to think, guide, and shape the content. You still need to bring the stories, experiences, and real talk that connect with people.
AI just helps you do it faster and with less mental burnout.
If you’ve been stuck staring at a blank screen, not knowing what to post, this method is a game-changer.
- Define your goal and audience
