5 Elements Your YouTube Channel Must Have to Keep Viewers Coming Back for More!

The way your channel is perceived by both your prospects and YouTube is a huge part of how successful your video marketing will be.

While there are techie things involved, there are also foundational marketing elements that your YouTube Channel should have… that in many cases will take care of everything else automatically.

Simply because your audience loves your YouTube channel. (And keep coming back to it!)

Today we're going to go over…

5 Ways to Give Your YouTube Channel the Best Chance for Success!

#1 Branding

Simply put, your brand is the way that people remember you.

Branding means creating the reason that people believe you exist. If you dig even deeper, it's the way that people feel on an emotional level when they see your relationship with products and/or service.

Your brand will dictate how people feel about YOU, and everything that you are associated with.

Building your brand is your #1 goal in your business, and your YouTube channel is most definitely a significant piece of your home biz puzzle.

When someone gets to YOUR YouTube channel they should know right away:

  • Who you are…
  • What you're about…
  • And how YOU can help THEM get closer to their goals!

Everything you do must make that more and more apparent!

The 2 quickest ways to make that happen are through your YouTube banner, and your YouTube Trailer Video.

Now, not to brag but my YouTube channel does pretty well. You can go here to see my YouTube channel, and see what I do to immediately brand myself as the go-to-guy for video marketing training for home biz owners.

#2 Personality

Once someone gets to your channel, and sees what you can do for them… they want to get a feel for you. They want to see you really are!

Therefore you'll want to make sure you add YOUR personality to your entire channel.

Your picture and your videos will tell them a lot about you. So make sure you make your personality shine through. Be yourself! Don't try to be everything to everyone. Those that like you will like you, and those that don't won't.

It's that simple.

In other words, if you're a bit crazy, be crazy.

If you're a more hyper and excited type of person, be that person.

If you're a nice and calm person, then let that shine through.

Even if you're more of a straight-forward abrasive person, then that's who you should be in your videos.

Be who you are!

Don't worry, people WILL be attracted to you. And only the right ones will keep coming back over and over again. (And those are truly the ONLY ones you want coming back through.)

#3 Value

Of course personality will only get you so far.

Your audience is all about “what's in it for me” whether you want to admit it or not.

Therefore you want to make sure on top of showing them who you are, you also show them WHAT YOU KNOW, and more importantly…what THEY want to know.

I show you EXACTLY how to do that in my No Fear Video Marketing System!

For the most part… just give them the kind of value that YOU would love to see coming out of other marketers. That you would have loved to see coming from someone when YOU first started.

And what does every single person on the planet want when they're looking to achieve a goal?

#4 RESULTS (In Advance!)

The quickest way to someone's heart, is through the RESULTS that you give them.

Those results will depend on your niche. But if you're in the home biz/MLM arena, those results they want is probably more leads and/or sales in their business.

For instance, if your videos on your YouTube channel can help your viewer get some leads after watching your videos, what do you think they'll do? That's right…they'll come back for more.

Which means that YouTube starts to love your channel more, and they will more likely buy something from you, or join your business.

And that means that you MUST not forget the key element…

#5 Give Them a Way to Keep In Touch!

You'd be surprised by how many people screw this up, but you MUST give the people who visit your channel a way to keep in touch.

You can do this in a number of ways, but I'll just go over 2 right here.

Ask Them to Subscribe!

Duh right? But you'd be floored if you knew how many people never ask their viewers to subscribe. This of course is ridiculous because what happens when people subscribe to your channel?

They get notified when you release another video! Which means they come back. YouTube loves you, and then you get a chance to grab them up as a lead.

Get Them to a Capture Page!

In essence your main reason for creating videos is getting people who know you, like you, and trust you onto your list so that they'll either buy from you or join your opportunity.

So you'll want to be sure to add links to your capture pages so that you can get them on your list.

This can ALSO be a great way to keep bringing viewers back to your YouTube channel over and over a again!

I do have a YouTube channel and have made a few videos, but have not been consistent. I have noticed I’ve only gotten a few views and wonder how to improve that.
I intend to start making videos more frequently, like three times a week! But am wondering about asking people to subscribe – how do you subscribe to a channel? I am (obviously) still new at this, but am willing to learn.

    thanks Mark
