Having a successful home based business is a factor of many elements that come together. However in my 10+ years of being in this industry, there are really only a handful of things you need to understand if you want to be successful.
Successful Home Based Businesses Start With This…
To many people quit before they really get going and before their actions have a chance to take shape. In every other career of life, people study for years, spend time on internships and invest a ton of effort before they get paid a dime, because they know that in the end it “might” provide them a profitable job.
If that is the case in the job market, why would it be any different here in the home based business world? You see there is a “Law” of life I call “The Law of planting, cultivating, and harvesting” and is paramount to all small businesses that do well. This law says that for any desired result, there is a process one must go through to reach that result.
Relationships are a good example. Most people don't meet their future husband or wife and get married right away without letting the relationship develop. The same is true in successful home based businesses that actually turn a profit.
The actions you take now, will not show up until 90-100 days out from now. I have often heard leaders say that you should build your business in 90 day chunks of time. This is because most leaders know, that most successful home based businesses are built on consistent action over a period of time, not overnight.
Practice the law of planting, cultivating, and harvesting and you will see a much bigger explosion when the time comes. This is a key aspect of top successful home based businesses and what to look for as far as examples of home based businesses to follow.

Above when I talked about taking consistent action over a period of time, its important to understand that you must take action based on a proven blueprint to have a successful home based business. People that never get results are the ones that are listen to everybody else but the correct person on what to do.
No matter what niche you are in, you must find the best and work to emulate them in that respect. You really should watch who you take advice from and ask yourself, have they done what they are doing successfully?
