The 6 Pillars – The Foundation of Your Online Marketing Business
Pillar 1 – Your Vision & Personal Development Strategy
The sad fact is that far too many people try to find success with an online biz, without truly knowing what success looks like.
Like jumping in the car and just driving around, you meander around and hit dead ends over and over again, until you eventually get to where you end up.
That's not always the ideal place and not where you wanted to go.
However when you're crystal clear on where you want to go, and what you want your business to look like, you can then map out the plan to get you there.
But that's not all getting clear on your vision does for you. It also turns you into a sort of magnet that pulls that thing you're visualizing toward YOU!
Doors begin to open up, opportunities begin to show up that weren't there before.
Not of course without some detours, road blocks, bumps in the road. Therefore, there's one more piece to this puzzle.
If you're human, then you've likely got some limiting beliefs that aren't serving you on your journey, but hindering you instead.
Fear is usually at the cornerstone of this. You name the fear, and it's what's likely holding back.
Afraid of failure? Then you're probably not going to even try to start that blog, or Facebook Page, because you're afraid that you'll fail trying!
Afraid of getting on camera to create marketing videos?
Then you probably won't create videos, and therefore you're likely going to be limited by the amount of prospects you can get, since people online LOVE video so darned much.
Those limiting beliefs (or success getting past them) is a direct correlation of where you're at on your journey to success.
You haven't yet become the person you must become, with the right mindset and belief in yourself, to become the successful online biz owner that you want to become.
That's okay. We all have these limiting beliefs, but it's up to us to get through them.
So it's time to get crystal clear on your VISION and start rewriting the limited beliefs and stories that are holding you back. Until you do, you'll be climbing up hill…well…likely forever!!
Pillar 2 – Personal Branding & Target Market Strategy
If you want to attract people to you and your business, then you've got to give them a reason to come.
And you can only do that through BRANDING yourself as the go-to person in your niche.

In my business that's been the brand I've created and one of the major focuses of my business because video is crucial to marketing online today.
Think about this for second….. Coca-Cola is brown, sweet, and bubbly water. But it's the name that most people go to when they want a soda.
Even though it's extremely tasty, that's not why people constantly go to Coca-Cola! It's because of the brand they've built.
Never mind the fact that Coke is horrible for your body…lol
Only when YOU know the brand that you're building… and exactly why people should come to you, can you start to find your exact target market who wants what you have! (And then you can show THEM why they should come to you by the credibility of your brand!)
BONUS: When you build a solid trustworthy brand, it doesn't matter which company you're with, or what you're selling as an affiliate. People buy from you and join you because you are a their trusted brand! (And you can earn MULTIPLE streams of income because of this!)
Pillar 3 – Monetization Strategy
Now that you have the clear vision of what you want your business to look like, you're branding yourself, and attracting your target market… it's time to start earning. That's why you're in this game right?
What's that number look like? How many sales and sign-ups do you need to get there?
A quick example? If you want to earn $10,000 a month, you can either sell one product that earns you $10K a month. Or you can sell two that earn you $5000 a month. Ten for $1000/month. One hundred for $100 a month. You get the point.
This is where you'll want to know your price points and your compensation plan like the back of your hand so that you can figure this out, and strategize how to get there!
Pillar 4 – Content Creation & Content Marketing Strategy
The internet is built around content. Proof?
You're reading this now aren't you?
This is content that I've written and am posting so that you get value.
So that you see that I know what the heck I'm talking about, and maybe decide to keep following me, become a lead , or invest in one of my products (hint 😉 )!
More proof? Already today, you've probably read a news story online, checked out some Facebook posts, watched a video or two, and maybe listened to a podcast. All content.
Your content is what's going to attract people to you, keep them coming back (BUILD YOUR AUDIENCE), and build KNOW, LIKE, and TRUST.
And of course eventually get your prospects to become your customers (and maybe even refer others!)

What Kind of Content Should You Produce!
That would depend on Pillars #1, #2, and #3!! See how this works? 🙂
- What kind of business do you want to create?
- What do you want to brand yourself as?
- Who is your target market?
- How much money do you want to make!
- Where are you building your business? (Facebook? YouTube? Instagram? Blogging?)
My preferred content strategy is obviously Video Marketing!
I like video because it's versatile, you can stick your videos anywhere you want (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Your Blog!), and it creates almost immediate know, like, and trust!
But there's also articles like the one you're reading now. Inspirational posts on social media. How to posts. Picture quotes. PDF Reports. The sky is the limit.
Whatever you choose, you must choose something, and then take action consistently posting your content online!
Pillar 5 – Your Follow-Up & Engagement Strategy
Follow up is key for your business to make money.
People have short attention spans. Especially online.
So if someone leaves your site without you capturing their email address, or getting them to connect with you through Facebook Messenger, chances are they'll forget about you.
Creating an email list is vital and you should always be trying to capture people's email.
However there's also Facebook Messenger, and ManyChat where you can contact people through automated messages on Facebook.
Bottomline: Following up is key to creating a sustainable and constantly growing business online. Your audience size, and your list is gold… no matter where you're building it. And so you should treat it like it's gold!
Pillar 6 – Your Traffic Strategy (How to Get People to Your Content!)
So you've created all this content, created a Facebook page, a website, a blog, maybe a YouTube channel… NOW you must get people to it.
That's where traffic comes in.
Since we've built our other pillars, this part becomes easy. You just send people to where you want them to meet you. Which is wherever you've decided to put your content.
Where does web traffic come from?…
The internet is known as the information highway right?
You can think of the various marketing platforms as different stops along this highway.
So for example if your giving value and branding yourself with content on your blog at Exit #10 on this information highway, and Exit #1 is Google, then you need to get people to leave Exit #1 and get to you at Exit #10.
That therefore would mean search engine optimization is your traffic strategy.
You could also take people from let's say Exit #4 which is Facebook, and get them to also take a cruise over to your blog at Exit #10.
Therefore posts on Facebook could be the vehicle. Or you can get them on a high-speed train and create some Facebook paid ads, and shuttle them right over to your blog!
So basically you can get traffic flowing from all directions, or from one to another, and keep them in your web forever.
The main point. Without traffic (eyes and ears on your content), you've got no business.

While it may seem like a lot, it's actually quite simple if you're just starting.

- Get absolutely clear on what you want your business to look like.
- Pick ONE platform to build your audience. (YouTube, Facebook, Your Blog, etc.)
- Pick ONE content strategy based on that platform.
- Become an expert at ONE traffic strategy.
- Earn money and build a business!
