If you’re like most people, you’d like to earn more commissions in 2022 and beyond!
And one simple way to do that is just sell more products. And the easiest way to do that, especially if you’re just getting started, is affiliate products.
Because these products already exist and have a sales system in place. This means you don’t have to create a product or sales page, YOU just have to get the offer in front of the best prospects (the people most likely to purchase!)
But you can amp it up even more by pre-selling them to buy! And that’s exactly what I’m gonna show you how to do today!
The cool part, there are only 4 parts to this strategy!
So let’s get moving on this, shall we?
4 Steps to Earn More Affiliate Commissions This Year!
Step #1: Create Your Own Unique Lead Magnet!
A lead magnet is what you’ll use to get people on your leads list, so you can keep providing value, and selling to them.
This can be a PDF report, a video, or even an audio MP3 where you teach them something. Or a combination of all those.
In essence, a lead magnet is something you give away to get people to give you their email address, so you can keep building a relationship with them, and yes…selling to them.
This doesn’t have to be complicated. (BUT it does HAVE to be valuable.)
In fact, one of my highest performing lead magnets is a ONE page PDF report that gives people 14 Conversation Starters!
Your lead magnet can be as simple as that. YOU showing them how to do 1 thing that will get them moving further toward their goals!
But if you’re looking to sell a particular affiliate product to earn commissions fast this year, you’ll want to make sure that your lead magnet is relevant to your offer.
Meaning, the above Lead Magnet “14 Conversation Starters!” is perfect to get leads for a course that teaches people to prospect on social media, or perhaps for Messenger Marketing training!
If you’re in let’s say the weight loss niche, then this wouldn’t be the best. But you could create a simple lead magnet such as: “10 Hidden Ingredients That Stall Weight Loss!” or “5 Simple Bodyweight Workouts That Will Help You Shed 10 Pounds in 30 Days!”
OR you can even turn any one of your existing pieces of relevant content (videos, blog posts, etc) away as a lead magnet.
As long as it’s valuable and will easily get people one step closer to their goal!
Step #2: Create a Capture Page!
Your capture page is where you’ll entice people to subscribe to get your email magnet. This is where you’ll collect your subscriber info, so people can get their hands on it!
The way to get people to opt-in is to simply tell them what your lead magnet can do for them, and how to get it! This basically means a headline, perhaps some bullets (optional), and a two step opt-in box!
Here’s what it looks like…
Once your prospect hits the ‘Download Now’ button, they’ll be asked to enter their name and email address. And will be automatically subscribed to your email campaign, which of course will go on to sell them on the main product you’re trying to sell.
Step #3: Create a 5 to 7 Day Email Series!
So when people subscribe to get your lead magnet, you’ll want to immediately put them into an auto-responder series.
It takes 5 to 7 exposures for people to trust you enough to buy from you. In some cases even more. So you want to make sure you’re increasing those odds, by sending them at LEAST 5 to 7 emails that lead them to the offer.
These don’t have to be hard-selling emails (although they can!) The idea is to pre-sell your leads on WHY they should buy the product.
This is called an email campaign that you can quickly set up in Aweber or any email software of your choice to automatically send your emails out.
Your emails will have 3 objectives…
- Get the to open = Subject Line
- Pre-sell = Show them the benefits of the product you’re offering
- Get the click = Get them to the course’s sales page!
That's it! Then you just let the sales page and offer (that you didn’t have to create) take over!
Step #4: Promote on Social Media (niche groups, FB ads, Etc!)
Alright, so you’ve got everything lined up to start getting leads and sales. Now you’ve just got to get your offer in front of people.
And the best way to do that is to go where the people are….which right now is social media, mainly Facebook!
Here are a few ways to make this happen on Facebook!
* Post in FB Niche Groups!
It doesn’t matter which niche you’re in, there’s almost certainly a Facebook group around that niche. And by group, I mean a place where your ideal prospects are hanging out, chatting amongst themselves, and seeking information.
This is a great way to post value, attract people to you, and share what you’ve got.
* Use Facebook Ads
If you want to speed up this process even faster, then you can use paid ads. Paid ads allow you to quickly target and get your message in front of your best prospects.
You can do this for as little as $1 buck a day, build your email list, and get sales!
Don’t forget, once someone is on your list, you can sell to them over and over again, and recoup the investment you’ve made in running your ads!
There are tons of ways to get traffic to your offers, you just need to pick one and go for it. In this example, I am talking about Facebook, but you are not limited to Facebook at all.
