Simple Principle You Must Understand When Generating Leads Online

I have been generating leads online for almost 10 years now and I have learned a ton of principles on what works and what doesn't work in that time.

One of the main ways I have been able to gather so much data and learn the bedrock principles of online marketing is because I learned about the 80/20 rule early on in my online marketing career.

The 80/20 rule is simple…

It states that 80% of your effort will not produce results, however, it's 20% that will produce all the results.

Let me give you an example. Let's say you have a team of 100 people and out of that 100 people only 20 of them will actually be producers while 80% will do nothing.

This rule applies to all marketing.

For instance, I know that 80% of my ads that I put out there won't produce leads or sales for me.

I am constantly searching for the 20% because that's where the sweet spot resides.

In short, only 20% of your efforts will produce the desired result, so keep going until you find the sweet spot that starts to bring the results you are looking for.
